Nanostride is a club under Concordia's Student Union. We are a non-profit that gives back to the community through technology.
Our goal is to push the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics; we want to make them accessible for everyone.
When building anything new, it is not just about engineering, finding solutions is important but finding elegant ones is even more important.
We see ourselves as artists. Design is not about something looks but more about how it works. That is our design methodology.
NanoStride is made up of three different branches:
Design is the branch responsible for designing and manufacturing the project.
Software is the branch responsible for creating the systems that power the project.
Electronics is the branch responsible for imagining the blood flow behind every creation.
Countless efforts go into making our project come to life. The executive panel manages day-to-day bureaucracy, team management and ensures everything goes smoothly.
"I always wanted to work on artificial intelligence and robotics projects with motivated and competent students. NanoStride was my only opportunity that I had as a Concordia student to improve my engineering skills by working on different projects."
"I saw the flyers around campus, and when I reached out to the club, they welcomed me with open arms."
"It is very hard to get access to work on projects of this scale as a student. Nanostride offers all the tools needed to work as a team and build something marvelous."
